James Nicholas Wade
August 25, 1998 ~ August 13, 2016
James Nicholas Wade was born on August 25, 1998 in Sandy, Utah. He resided all his life in Draper. James died from a fall in Little Cottonwood Canyon on August 13, 2016. He died doing what he loved most – enjoying this beautiful world God created for him. He had a great love and knowledge of all of God’s creations. He was an excellent honor student at Corner Canyon High School and had an ability to remember all he read. James was quiet, thoughtful, fun, silly, intelligent, respectful, reverent, loving, charitable, and a son of God with great faith. James loved spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind for a time his father and mother, Joseph (Lisa) Wade and Kimberly Wade; four siblings, Elizabeth, Savah, Katie, and Matthew; and maternal grandparents, Larry and Judy Naillon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 12 noon at the LDS Draper Stake Center, 13085 South 300 East. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers we ask donations be given to the LDS Church General Mission Fund or Temple Fund, two of his greatest passions or to the Salt Lake County Sheriff Search and Rescue Team who worked so tirelessly to find him.
