JaNae Burton Bair

SYRACUSE - JaNae Burton Bair ,65, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family and sweet husband. She was a lifelong resident of Syracuse, Utah.

She married Douglas L. Bair on March 18, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple.

JaNae was a valiant member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Syracuse Maplewood Ward. She faithfully served in countless church callings. Her solid testimony touched the lives of all she came in contact with. She worked for Davis County School District in the payroll department for many years. Sincere thanks to all her sweet friends for all of their help, love and support. She was a hero to all and has a major FAN CLUB!

JaNae was an amazing wife, mother, seamstress, cook and artist. You name it, she could do it! She loved to take her family hunting, fishing and just being in the great outdoors. She absolutely loved being a GRANDMA.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas L. Bair of Syracuse, Utah, sons; Shaun (Jennie) of Clinton, Utah, Bryan (Amy) of Clinton, Utah, Michael (Shay) of Bear River, Utah, Jeremy (Brandy) of West Point, Utah, and daughter, Angela of Syracuse, Utah, 12 grandchildren and brother Duane (Nancy) Burton of Syracuse, Utah.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Bair, mother, Ila Burton and father, Wayne Burton.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mapelwood Ward, 1660 W. 2228 S. in Syracuse, Utah. Friends may call Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Rd. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.

Family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bromberg and Bernadette at the University of Utah and all the staff at Summit Home Health and Hospice.
