Jane Flint Green
KAYSVILLE a" Jane Flint Green, 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Jane was born March 11, 1922 in Kaysville, UT to Chester C. and Mina Webster Flint. She was educated in Davis County and graduated from Davis High School in 1940. She also attended Utah State University.
Jane married Jay Glenn Green on June 11, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for over 70 years. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She frequently reminded her family how much she "Loved LIFE." Jane was blessed with creative ability and a sense of humor.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord and served unselfishly for many years in leadership and teaching positions in Relief Society, Young Women, Primary and Cub Scouts.
She was an elementary school librarian at Layton and Syracuse Elementary. It was important to her to teach young readers to love books as much as she did.
She is survived by her loving husband Jay, sons: Alan (Dorothy) Green and Robert (Ellison) Green; daughters: Carole (Jerry) Walters, Anne (Bob) Green, Janet (Craig) Smith; 22 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Barbara Iverson and Catherine Adams; and brother, Vernon Flint (Marilyn).
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin sister, sister Helen F. Barber, and grandson Robert Morgan Green.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 W. Center Street, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, Utah from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
