LAYTON a€" Jane Ooley Rhoades, 77, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011. She was born on February 14, 1934, the daughter of Dolphus Clarence and Hester Janyce Creech Ooley.

Jane married Donald B. Rhoades in Mooresville, Indiana on May 8, 1952. She served as a military wife, raising her family at many bases around the world. She was a member of the Baptist church.

She enjoyed traveling, ceramic dolls, and quilting, and spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her husband Donald, children Peach Rhoades (Doug), Tyra R. Mauchley (Cory), Rickie A. Rhoades (Angie), Toni R. McAlister (Mike) and Mickie O. Rhoades (Nobalee), 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two sisters.

Preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

A private family service will be held.
