Jane Zito
Our dear Mother to Great-great-grandmother, slipped gently into a new realm of reality on Monday, June 12, 2017, one day before her 82nd birthday. She was preceded to her wonderful new state of consciousness by her parents and siblings and also by her daughter, Pamela, in 1967, and the love of her life for 63 years, her husband, Tommy, in 2014. Mama closed her eyes for the very last time, knowing she was loved by all, and her last coherent words to us were, “don’t be sad, this is not a bad thing.”
Shortly after Pam died, Mother became a Jehovah’s Witness. She cherished her congregation, as family, until her last gentle breath.
She will be missed, but never forgotten, and those of us that loved her the most will continue to communicate with her, in our dreams, until we reach her level again.
She is survived by her son, John Zito (Debbie), her granddaughter, Megan Koomlek; her grandson, Nick Zito; her great-grandchildren, Gina, Jarrick, and Toni; and two great-great-grandchildren, Mariyah and Julian.
Friends may visit with family on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
