SOUTH OGDEN a€" Janene Keele Miller, 68, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Lomond Peak Nursing.

She was born October 20, 1941 in Ogden, a daughter of Edward and Mary Auffhammer Keele.

On February 12, 1984, Janene married Richard B. Miller in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard preceded her in death on June 14, 2006.

She was an active member of the Canyon Road Assembly of God.

She worked as a peace officer for the North Las Vegas Police Department.

Janene enjoyed dancing, camping, firearms and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Brent (Mona) Shreeve, James McCarty, Russell Miller, Tiffaney Miller, three grandchildren and four great-grandchidren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Novice McCarty and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Uintah Cemetery.
