Janet E. Buckner

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Buckner on January 4, 2025. Janet was a dedicated mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, whose love and light will be missed by all who knew her.

 Janet was born and raised in San Diego, California, and in 1983, she moved to Mesa, Arizona, where she raised her family. In 2022, she made Layton, Utah her home, where she spent the remainder of her life.

 On April 1, 1975, Janet married Robert W. Drizigacker II in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they had two children, Robert and Desirae. Robert also adopted Janet's first child, Amber.

 Janet was known for her spontaneous spirit, especially when it came to traveling with her loved ones. She cherished road trips to Las Vegas, San Diego, and wherever her truck would take her. Janet had a passion for Disney, adored her Chargers, and loved the ocean. She fondly remembered the cruises she took, each one filled with treasured memories.

 Janet is survived by her children, Robert and Desirae; her grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Blake, Chelsey, and Jeffrey; and her great-grandchildren, Garrett and Shealynn

 Her legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

 A celebration of Janet's life will be held at a later date.

 Rest in peace, Janet. You will be forever loved and missed.
