Janet Kay Burnett

Janet B. Burnett OGDEN - Janet B. Burnett, 57, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on June 6, 2007 of natural causes. She was born May 1, 1950 in Richfield, Utah to Almon N. and Iliene Jorgenson Bridges. Janet married Blair B. Burnett on July 18, 1969. The marriage was sealed for time and all eternity on November 4, 1989, in the Ogden LDS Temple. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School and from the LPN nursing program at Weber State College. She worked at St. Benedict’s hospital for many years and at Weber County Health Department for 14 years. She had many wonderful friends and associates, she loved nursing. She was very tender hearted and had a kind, giving and loving nature. Janet loved and cherished her dear husband, her three children and her five grandchildren, they were her life. She enjoyed every minute she had with them, she will be greatly missed. We look forward to our reunion with her in heaven. She is survived by her husband Blair B. Burnett, Ogden; her three children, Sheri (Mark) Ottesen, Roy; Jason A. Burnett, Ogden; Andy B. Burnett, Ogden. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Carson, Hallie, Makenna, Jed and Anna. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters. Funeral services will Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Terrace 12th Ward chapel, 5350 South 125 East. Friends may visit family on Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward.
