Janet Mae Wheeler Hooper

Janet Mae Hooper, 70, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015.  She was born on January 24, 1945 to Burton K. and Dora Ida Kimball Wheeler in Logan, Utah. 

She married Donald M. Hooper on December 22, 1967.

Janet was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint.

She worked for 34 years as a Tax Examiner at IRS. 

Janet loved the outdoors, camping, and hunting.  She also loved horses and ATVs.  She enjoyed fishing at Flaming Gorge, traveling in the motor home, and the Piute Trail.

Janet is survived by her husband, Donald; son, Robert Lynn (Dayna) Hooper; stepdaughter, Carol (Ray) Penman; and four grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Miller.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
