Janet Mae Mahoskey “Together Again” Janet Mae Mahoskey passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was born September 1, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Onnie and Zaidee Green Ecola. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. On May 3, 1952 she married her sweetheart, Robert Mahoskey, and they enjoyed 58 blissful years together. From early on, bowling was one of their favorite activities. Together they had five children, 20 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. Janet was famous for her baking, in particular for her carrot cake and German chocolate cake recipes. She also made a mean relish. Janet enjoyed playing the organ at Trinity Presbyterian Church, and loved her association with the congregants. She had a deep faith, and devoted nearly 50 years of service on various committees. She never spoke a harsh word about anyone. She and Bob made many lifelong friends during their many travels across the states and throughout the world. They enjoyed a life of adventure and service, and will be greatly missed. Janet is survived by her children, Robert (Judy) Mahoskey, Gloria (Dennis) Martinez, Nancy (Lew) Hansen and Chuck (Lynn) Mahoskey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and son, Neal. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 140 N. Tyler Ave. Inurnment, for Janet and Bob, Ben Lomond Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
