Janet Anne Rueff

NORTH OGDEN - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Janet A. Rueff, 73, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Ogden. She held the hand of the love of her life as she passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Janet was born April 1, 1937 in New Orleans, LA to Eugene and Grace Tobin.

On December 29, 1966, she married Frank C Rueff. She attended Northwestern State college earning her BSN and attended Emory University earning her MSN. Janet worked as a pediatric nurse and as an assistant professor at Weber State College. Children were her life''s work and passion. After retiring from her professional careers, Janet took care of special needs infants in foster care. Regardless of the time of night, if they called she would take the baby. The wisdom she passed on is summed up simply, "That baby never asked to be born; you made that decision for them."

Her family was her greatest joy and nothing pleased her more than spending time with her grandchildren. The legacy Janet left behind was one of unending love and compassion.

She is survived by her husband and best friend Frank, sons Frank and Michael, daughter Diana, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. You will be missed more than words could ever express but the footsteps you left on our hearts will always be there.

A visitation will be held Saturday May 8th at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. from 2 to 4 p.m.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Crematory.
