Janet Lee Toulatos

Janet Lee Toulatos, 71, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was the middle child of Jacob and Bernice Gailey Hansen, born on July 26, 1952, in Roy, Utah. She grew up in Roy, graduated from Roy High and later earned a Bachelor of Nursing from Weber State University.

She married Nick Toulatos in 1980.

Jan worked as an ICU nurse at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

Jan is survived by her husband, Nick; her children, Cody Shipley, Calli Toulatos (Nathan Wilson), Lindsay Toulatos (Ben Jensen), and Gus Toulatos; as well as grandchildren, Sophia, Eleni, Alex, and Oscar. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 674 42nd St.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at both Pine View Transitional Rehab, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and the sisterhood of nurses who cared so well for our mom.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jan’s honor to Huntsman Cancer Institute or South Ogden Animal Shelter
