OGDEN a€" Janice LaRae Golden Everts, 66, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born January 18, 1942 in Brigham City, a daughter of E.A. "Goldie" and Helen Frye Golden.

On June 28, 1957, Janice married Larry Lee Everts in Ogden.

She lived in Ogden, Phoenix, Arizona, and Point of Rocks, Wyoming.

Janice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She enjoyed reading, watching game shows, playing cards and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Larry of Ogden; two sons and two daughters, Kirk Golden Everts, New Boston, IL; Kyle Larry Everts, Chicago, IL; Pamala Kim Johnson, Phoenix, AZ; Cory Lee O''Rear, Cheyenne, WY; her granddaughter, Gina Marie Yefko, Ogden; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Eleanor Golden (Robert F.) Arnold, Ogden; and Vicky Golden Jackson, Clinton.

Preceding Janice in death were her parents and one grandson, Keith Everts.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
