Janice Brough Rumsey

Janice Brough Rumsey, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home.

She was born March 14, 1943, in Ogden, Utah to Eldon and Marvel Brough.

Janice married Allen Horace Rumsey on January 28, 1966 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Janice loved having her family around her and she adored every one of her grandchildren; in fact, being a grandma was her greatest calling. She enjoyed quilting and genealogy and looked forward to the day she would be reunited with her two boys.

Janice is survived by her husband of 49 years, Allen; one brother Blaine (Colleen) Brough, South Ogden; four sons, Robert (Valerie) Rumsey, Sunset; David Rumsey, Sunset; Jason (Loriell) Rumsey, Roy; Michael (Jennifer) Rumsey, Roy; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Marvel and two sons, Douglas Scott Rumsey and Brian Blaine Rumsey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Sunset 5th Ward Chapel, 2431 North 250 West. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
