Janis Boyle Anderson "Ms Ma-mick"

Janis Boyle Anderson passed away April 2, 2012 at the age of 92. She was born March 12, 1920 in Payson, Utah to Pat and Rosa Goss Boyle. She married Roger Morgan in California in 1937, later divorced. She then attended the University of California Berkeley and graduated in Medical Technology. She served in Japan and Korea in the American Red Cross.

She married Albert "Butch" Anderson in March of 1953 in Salt Lake City. She worked at Bountiful Medical Center as a Lab Technician for over 30 years. She volunteered as a foster grandma and at several nursing homes. Mom loved nature, birds and flowers. Mom loved her family and home, and kept busy crocheting many beautiful afghans and going to the Golden Years Senior Center, where she had many friends.

She was cared for tenderly by Chris her son. All of her children loved her dearly and spent many happy times with her. She was deeply devoted to her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband and brother, Milo Ott. Survived by her children: sons Kelley L., Chris J., and Mark J. Anderson; daughters Jane Browning (Brian), Kathy Morgan Hicker (George). Also survived by her wonderful grandsons and a brother Lynn Boyle of Payson, UT.

One of her many favorite sayings is "The time to be happy is now." We love you Mom!

In keeping with her wishes she chose to be cremated with no funeral services. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary.
