Jann Harris Edwards, 56, of Uintah, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 1, 2021.

She was born on January 30, 1965 in Ogden, Utah, the youngest child of Leo N. and Verla Bright Harris of Washington Terrace. Jann was raised and educated in Ogden and attended Bonneville High School where she graduated in the Class of 1983.

On June 29, 1989, Jann married the love of her life, Kenneth “Kenny” Blaine Edwards in West Point, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

At the time of her death, she was employed at Adams Ave. Parkway toll road where she loved seeing and saying hi to the many friends and family that would pass through there daily. Jann’s ability to work with numbers was a huge asset to the company and will be dearly missed.

When precious time permitted, Jann loved spending time with her family hunting and camping, crocheting and a girl’s weekend at her brother’s cabin. Above all she loved the time spent with her grandchildren; her love for them was immeasurable.

Jann is survived by her husband, Kenny; and four sons, Scott (Mandy) Hodson, Corey (Jessy) Hodson, Tyler (Kaisey Claunch) Edwards, Casey (Taylor Sharp) Edwards; mother, Verla Bright Harris; sisters, Linda (Doug) Nay, Diane (Scott) Grange; brother, Dee (Gina) Harris; and eight grandchildren, Mckayla Hodson, Carly Hodson, Brock Hodson, Nikki Hodson, Ivie Edwards, Kaydence Claunch, Axton Edwards, Brecklyn Edwards; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo N. Harris; sister, Gloria Lee Harris; and her twin nieces, Michelle and Melissa Nay.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Washington Terrace 5th Ward Chapel, 350 West 5100 South. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
