Jarrad Preston Cable
December 29, 1971 ~ March 1, 2015
Jarrad passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at his apartment in North Ogden. He was born in Ogden, Utah to Kay Donoviel. He had one brother, his best friend, Chris. He married Michelle Skinner and they had two beautiful daughters, Jarah and Kestin. He was blessed with the privilege of raising Michelle’s two daughters by a previous marriage, Chelsi and Shaylie Fuller.
Jarrad worked in management for Hostess Bakery and drove a truck for Schwan Foods where he met many valued customers and friends. He was admired by all that knew him. His friends, family, and co-workers are honored to have had the pleasure to have him in their lives. Many happy times of his childhood were spent on Midland Drive in Roy with special friends, Jon, Shaun, Wayne, and brother, Chris. He attended Roy High School. He loved football, basketball, and golf. But especially loved time spent with his girls. He was the Best Dad ever! We will love you and miss you forever.
Even though Jarrad’s health declined over the last few years you would never have known it. He lived life to the fullest. He looked forward to his weekly shopping dates with his sweet Grandma Thelma. He had a very special place in his heart for his mom Kay and always looked after and adored her.
Jarrad is survived by Michelle, daughters, Chelsi, Shaylie, Jarah, and Kestin. His mother, Kay and step-father, Bill Evans; his brother, Chris (Stephany) and two nieces, Kenzie, and Kylie; his grandmother, Thelma Donoviel; inlaws, Clark and Nadean Skinner; a sister-in-law and special friend, Debbie Sei (Jason) and nephews, Colton and Bridger; his aunts and uncles, Diane and Bob Humiston, Lynne and Ken Donoviel; and Bill’s two children, Scott and Karen, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Donoviel.
A Celebration of Jarrad’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Linquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd., casual dress.
A special thanks to the medical staff at Pleasant View and Davita Weber Valley Dialysis Centers for their excellent compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Davita Weber Valley Dialysis Center in memory of Jarrad or the trust fund for his girls at Golden West Credit Union.
I will forever love the one and only person that gave me my greatest gifts in life, the mother of my girls. To my girls who made my world complete; Jarah, I am so proud of you and for always putting a smile on my face. Proud you picked me to help with your car and other adventures. And to Kestin, my side kick and all star. I didn’t miss a game then and won’t now. I will still be on the sidelines cheering you on. I couldn’t have loved my girls more, never forget that! Love Dad
