She was my bright and shining star, a special angel whose gentle heart and kind nature never faltered, even in her darkest hour. Grace and courage were hers in the face of adversity and from her I learned that unconditional love and acceptance are neither easy nor fast, but they are always worth it.
She grew into a stunningly beautiful woman with a glorious smile. She did battle with the disease of alcoholism. It finally unleashed the four horsemen terror, bewilderment, frustration and despair. That battle was completed in the evening of December 15, 2013. Her bright and shining star lives on.
