It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Boyd Tapp, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at his home in Layton, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 1, 1971 in Ogden, Utah to Donald D. and Virginia Kerby Tapp along with his twin brother Jeremy.
Jason received his GED.. He was known for his love of biking and fishing, reveling in the beauty of nature and the feelings of peace these activities brought him. Good food was another passion of his, as was spending cherished time with his family—qualities that defined his caring and warm spirit.
Jason is survived by his devoted mother, Virginia K. Tapp, and his brothers, Richard Tapp and Tracy Tapp, along with his sister, Selena Bell. Their lives were enriched by Jason’s presence, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald D. Tapp, and his twin brother, Jeremy Tapp, his oldest brother, Mark Tapp, and all of his grandparents.
