Jay Dean Small

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of 36, Jay Dean Small joined his beloved Grandpa on a trip to eternal peace.   Jay loved all things outdoors, fishing above all else.  His passion for fishing was only second to the love he had for his family.  He had a great big heart, and if he considered you a friend, you were considered family as well.  He would do all he could for those he loved and cared about.  He was the youngest, of a family with all sisters, and had all daughters.  He learned a lot of patience always surrounded by us girls.  Jay was an artist.  You would never guess that such a big man could create such beautiful things.

Jay was survived by his sweetheart Brooke, the lights of his life, his daughters, Staycei (Robert) Blair, and Sarah Campbell, his mother Mona Moon, his loving siblings  Julie (Benjamin) Heaton, Joleen (Kevin) McClellan, J. “Annie”, (Rynnie) Weippert,  Jammie Mussman, Jim (Gina)Small, Jessie Small, Justin Small, his caring Aunts and Uncles,  more cousin's then he can count, adoring nephews and nieces, and his best friend/brother Justin (Mindi) Whipple.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
