Jayna Brown Quinn

It is with deep sadness that we announce that on March 2, 2015, Jayna Brown Quinn was called home after her three year battle against breast cancer. Jayna was born on November 13, 1958 in Santa Maria, CA. When she was 4 years old, she became a member of her forever family when Sherie Freer and Jack Brown married and joined their families together.

She married her eternal companion, Steve Quinn, on November 1, 1978. They had five children together. They spent a wonderful 36 years as husband and wife. They loved to travel together, and spend time with family and friends.

Jayna graduated with honors with her Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree from Weber State University, and then later earned her Master’s of Fine Arts degree from BYU.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Quinn, her children Jessie Burke (Chad), Jeremy Quinn (Brittney), Melodie Conlin (Casey Moore), Alex Quinn (Jill), and Ryan Quinn, and nine grandchildren as well as her parents, Jack and Sherie Brown, and siblings, Jim Brown (Tina), Jackie Brown, Kent Brown (Lisa), Joni Brown and Steven Brown (Jessica). She is preceded in death by her brother, Warren Brown and her sister, Jeanmarie Goodman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at the LDS Church located at 4310 S. 3200 W., West Valley City.  Friends may visit family Thursday March 5th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Friday, March 6th from 9:30 –10:30 am at the church prior to services.  Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
