January 20, 1941 ~ September 30, 2014

RIVERDALE ~ Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend Jayne Ann Cragun, 73, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was born January 20, 1941 to Norma Jane Dawson and Noel Larson Cragun.  Jayne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jayne had a special relationship with her mother. She was a beautiful, sweet person. She was an excellent writer and had a way with words. She was an avid reader. She was passionate about healthy living. She loved Country Western music and dancing. She reached out to others through giving greeting cards and loved to receive them

Jayne loved her brothers and sisters and had a very special relationship with her nieces and nephews. She loved family and friends and appreciated her associations with them.   She always had a smile and a hug for them.

Jayne enjoyed her career with the Department of Defense at DDO and with General Dynamics at HAFB where she excelled as an employee. She served in a variety of administrative positions. In retirement, she volunteered in the Weber County School’s Foster Grandparent Program. She so enjoyed helping these young boys and girls with their reading.

Jane is survived by her siblings Val (Brenda) Cragun of Bountiful; Bryant (Emelinda) Cragun of the Philippines; Lorna (Robert) Johnson of South Weber; Sidney (Sandy) Cragun of Kaysville; and Suzanne (Rodney) Herrick of West Weber. She is also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews whom she loved.

The family wishes to express special appreciation to Dee and Vickie Ferrell, her devoted home teachers and friends for many years.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
