Jayne Ethel Price Maynard

Jayne Ethel Price Maynard, 92, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.  She was born in Honeyville, Utah on July 31, 1924, to Israel LeRoy and Ethel Wood Price.  Jayne was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School class of 1942.

She married Richard Wesley Maynard.  They lived in various places as Richard worked in Construction.  Richard passed away in 2001.

Jayne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She had over 6,200 hours as a volunteer at St. Benedict’s Hospital.  Jayne ran the two family businesses, The Dive Shop and M & M Plumbing Service.

Jayne is survived by her sons, Dan (Maria) of Magna and David (Mona) of Syracuse; daughter, Sheryl Rasmussen, Ogden; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Richard T; parents, two brothers, Bob and Jack.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
