Jayson Brett Robinson

May 11, 1971 ~ April 4, 2016

Jayson Brett Robinson left this world on Monday, April 4, 2016, to embark on a new adventure with loved ones that awaited him. All the lives he touched will be richer for knowing him.

He was born to Brenda and Randy Robinson in Ogden, Utah on May 11, 1971, the first of three children. He attended school at Clinton Elementary and Clearfield High School before joining the US Army in 1989, where he honorably served his country during Desert Storm. September of 1992, he returned home and attended college to become an Aircraft Mechanic.

On March 20, 1999, Jayson married Mary Leach in Layton, Utah. Their daughter was born in October 1999 and together they raised two children.

Jayson loved spending time with his daughter. He enjoyed playing video games, watching Star Wars and Terminator and had a beautiful collection of dragon figurines that he worked tirelessly to collect. Jayson’s mug of Diet Coke was never out of reach and his running to and from the gas station was constant. He loved loud music and attending concerts. Jayson was a helper and protector by nature, his gentle soft heart was always eager to make things easier for his loved ones. He would always be there to lend a hand or help out any way he could.

Losing Jayson will leave a huge gap in many lives. But we are comforted with 44 years of memories and the knowledge that he is with Heavenly Father once again.

Jayson is survived by his daughter, Shaylee Robinson and son, Taylor Robinson, both of Bountiful; his father Randall Howard Robinson, Clinton; one sister, Texie Robinson, Clinton; one brother Bridger Robinson, Clinton; eight aunts and uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Joyce Robinson, Grandmother Ruby Stephens Robinson, Grandfather Howard Archie Robinson, Grandfather Jay S. Payne, and Uncle Paul Brian Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
