Jean Ann Larsen Cazier
CLEARFIELD a" Jean Ann Larsen Cazier passed away August 24, 2013 after fighting pancreatic cancer for 6 A½ years.
Jean was born January 7, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marlin Hillary and Shila Gunderson Larsen. She grew up in South Salt Lake area and graduated from Granite High School and was active in drama. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts.
Jean began working at Hill Air Force Base right after school, and served on and off retiring with 27 years as a System Analyst in 1993.
She loved roller skating and met her husband, Fred Cazier, at the rink. They married in 1958 and had four wonderful children together. They later divorced.
Jean was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions including Relief Society President, Visiting Teacher, Stake Single Adult Chairman, and served as a Temple Ordinance Worker in the Ogden Temple. She had a deep and abiding testimony of the gospel and a great love for her Savior.
Jean is survived by her daughter Lori Cazier, her sons, Ike (Tiffany) Cazier and Bart Cazier, three grandsons, one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons whom she loved and adored; and her sister-in-law Carla Larsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard Cazier and brother, Roland Larsen.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Stake Center, 935 So. State Street. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
