LAYTON/CLINTON – Jean passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 9, 2016, three days before her 70th birthday from complications of Alzheimer’s.
She was born to Robert Eugene and Dorothy Mae Fenner Beard on September 12, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona.
She married the love of her life Marlin J. Hill on March 2, 1972 in Tucson, AZ. They split their time with winters in Surprise, AZ and summers in Clinton, Utah. Their stay in Surprise was full of friends, entertaining and travel.
Jean was a tax accountant with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Weber State University. She had her “Taxwise Accounting” Business office in Kaysville and at her home.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and half-brother. She is survived by her husband Marlin, step-children, Chris Calver (Ann), Deniece (Brad) Egbert and David Hill, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Syracuse City Cemetery, 1290 So. 1000 W., Syracuse. Friends may visit family Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
