Jean L. Gordon Wilson

August 1, 1930 ~ April 30, 2015

With a sad heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jean L. Gordon Wilson on April 30, 2015 in Ogden.

Mom was born on August 1, 1930 in Freeport, Illnois, to Albert Gordon and Martha Schaeffer Gordon. Mom's siblings were Mary (Harold) Bowers, James (Ellen) Gordon, Donald (Barb) Gordon.

In 1948 Jean met and married George A. Wilson and they divorced in 1979. Together they had three children, Diana (Greg) Noall, Ogden; Blenda (Daniel) McCarty Missouri; and Wilford (Rosie) Wilson, Missouri.

Jean sure enjoyed her grandchildren, Stacy Coles, Jared Robertson, Sarah Hopkins and Trent Wilson and nine great-grandchildren.

Mom devoted 35 years of work as a nurse in various nursing homes and gave so much love and compassion to all.

Funeral Services for Jean will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's North Ogden, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
