On September 4, 2017 it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jeanne Bair Smith announces her passing after her fight with kidney failure. Jeanne was one of a set of twins born on May 7, 1943 and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Jeanne was known for her loving heart and generous nature, as she always accepted the calling when a friend or family member was in need.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond “Cub” Bair and Genet Stephensen. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gene Arthur Smith. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Edward Dale Smith; her sons, Michael (Gerri) and Doug (Danielle); and her daughter, Michelle (Jody) Weis; two sisters, Joanne (Ben) Peek and Carolyn (Darrell) Spiers. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
