Jeffrey Sparks Brown
WASHINGTON, UT – Jeffrey Sparks Brown, 72, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014.
He was born September 17, 1941 in Ogden, Utah the son of Wallace Martin and Maud Alice Sparks Brown. He was raised in Roy and attended Weber High School and Weber State University.
Jeffrey married Mary Ann Stark on July 3, 1974 in Elko, Nevada.
He retired from Hill AFB after 30 years of service.
He liked bicycle riding, model cars, guns, country western music, cars, traveling and reading history books.
Surviving are his wife Mary Ann Brown, Washington, UT; son, Carl Jeffrey (Kara) Brown, Logan, UT; daughters, Diane (Todd) Curtis, St. George, UT; Lori Cox, Bountiful, UT; Neely (Mike) Avery, Aliso Viejo, CA; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and brother, John J. (Flora) Brown, Kaysville, UT.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Edna Brown Wilson and brother, Wallace Martin Brown.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
