OGDEN a€" On Tuesday, October 20, 2009 following a long struggle with mortal life, Jeffrey Wayne Knudson left his tired body to join loved ones in Heaven.

He was born April 23, 1940 in Tremonton, Utah, a son of Francis Germer and Bernice Peterson Knudson.

Jeff worked at American Optical and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

He was an active member of the Ogden Jaycees, Eagles and Alano Club. Jeff had a great love for hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He had a giving heart and was unselfish. Jeff loved his family, especially his sons.

Surviving are his sons, Wayne and Normand Knudson, and his grandsons, Ray Knudson and Joe and Brian Bishop.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any branch of Mountain America Credit Union in Jeffrey''s name.
