LAYTON a€" Jeffrey Scoffield Stevenson, 59, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 surrounded by his family. He is remembered as a beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, having touched the lives of those who loved him. His passions were farming, his family and grandchildren.

Jeff was born May 26, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to George Vickers and Wanda Scoffield Stevenson. He married Jacklyn Hall on November 16, 1973 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Jeff is survived by his wife Jacklyn; children, Chad J. (Branddy); LeslieAnn (Richard) Whittaker; Marlynn (Austin) Byers; Mark S.; Hollie (Adam) Hurst; 6 grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brecklyn, Jackson, Liddy, Luke, and Maura; his mother, Wanda Stevenson; brothers, William; Mike (Grace); Nick (Vickie); and sisters, Luana Taylor and Melissa (Preston) Cox. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the West Layton LDS Chapel, 2120 Gentile St. Friends and family may call Monday for 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, and Tuesday 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to be made to the family for Jeff''s Funeral expenses.
