Jence Christian Jensen

Jence Christian Jensen, 60, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.  He was born on October 1, 1963, in Salt Lake City to Donald Lee Jensen and Gertrude Joy Knight Jensen.  He grew up in Clinton and lived most of his life in the Clinton and Ogden area.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He worked as a plumber and in the construction industry with his brothers and loved working with his family.  He enjoyed working with his hands and had the talent of being able to fix all kinds of things.  He also had a talent for bringing joy and laughter to those around him.  He loved to take walks and especially enjoyed fishing.

He met life’s challenges with unwavering courage and determination.  He was forever grateful to be the recipient of a kidney transplant that allowed him to continue to spend quality time with his family.  Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His pride and joy were his sons who survive, him Colbi (Samantha) Jensen, Presten (Sarah) Jensen, Tanner Erickson, and his grandchildren, Aulora, Carson, and Beckham. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters – Sharon (Jimmy) Adams, David (Tamara) Jensen, Daniel (Sharon) Jensen, Julie (Kreg) Christensen, Russell (Linda) Jensen, Larry (Julie) Jensen, Matthew (Monica) Jensen, Susan Hart, Jennifer Jensen, sister-in laws – Cheryl Jensen and Erin Jensen.  Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jim Jensen and Clifford Jensen.

We thank the doctors and nurses at Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) in Murray, Utah, for the wonderful care they gave to Jence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy, UT 84067. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, November 8^th from 6 and 8 p.m. and Thursday, November 9^th from 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
