Jenifer Anne Holton Young

July 11, 1964 - June 13, 2014

Jenifer Anne Holton Young, our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, returned home to our Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Connecticut to her father, the late Richard Holton and mother Joan that currently resides in Florida. She grew up in the country with her sister Ellen (Roger Samul) and enjoyed every minute of her life. She attended Rick's College and through some wonderful friends, met Steve Young, the love of her life. They will have been married for 29 years this August. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving in the Primary, Cub Scouts, Young Women’s, and Relief Society. She loved working at Spanky's Deli with many of her friends. Friends were an extremely important part of Jeni's life and she spent many of her happiest moments with all of them.

Her children were her life; Kristie (Scott Rushforth), Trevor (Angela Welch), Jessica, Cameron (serving an LDS mission in Des Moines, Iowa), Evan, and Dallen. They made the miracle of her being a mom a reality. She loved being known as the "Kool-aid Mom." She loves being a grandma and loves her three grandchildren with all her heart, Emma, Adam, and Alyssa.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the North Canyon 2nd Ward  Chapel, 3350 S. 100 E., Bountiful. Friends may visit family, Tuesday, June 17 ^th from 6- 8 at the Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Wed. from 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to services.  Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Bountiful.
