KAYSVILLE Jennie Jean Higgs Bulkley McClure, 90 was born on December 15, 1926 in Kaysville to Clarence William Higgs Sr. and Pearl Kingsford Higgs. Jennie passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 1, 2017due to age related natural causes.

Mom lived a full and selfless life and has left a legacy of kindness and dignity to all who knew her. The world will for generations be a better place because of the too short time she spent with us. She worked for the Woods-cross Canning Company and HAFB where she worked on the landing gear. She enjoyed outdoor activities. She is a member of the LDS faith where she served in many callings.

She is survived by five daughters Tamara (Dale) Chapman of Heber City, UT, Twila Jean (Clinton) Douglas of Heber City, UT, Tammy (Mark) Johnson of Layton, UT, Anna (Mark) Henzi of Layton, UT and Tina (Curtis) Mortensen of Kaysville, UT, two step-sons Harold Archer of Syracuse, UT, Jimmy (Kelly) Archer of Loveland, Colorado, two sisters Vera Smith and Marleen Smith both of Heber City, UT. She has 18 grand children, 23 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild.  Preceded in death by and is now reunited with both husbands Kenneth Jay Bulkley and William Harold McClure along with one step-son Wayne Harlan McClure, four brothers Alma Higgs, Merlin Higgs, Ben Higgs, Clarence Higgs Jr., one sister Helen Higgs Barnes, three brother-in-laws, and one great grandchild Alyssa Johnson.

We want to thank Avalon in Bountiful and Brighton Hospice for the gracious and loving care they gave her at the end of her life.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street.  Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
