Jerald K. Tolman
1917 ~ 2007
JK passed away May 16, 2007, at his home in Kaysville, Utah. He was born July, 1917, the eighth child of sixteen to Cyrus and Sarah Tolman, in Idaho.
He married his sweetheart, Ruby, October 1938, in Maywood, California. They were later sealed for eternity in the St. George LDS Temple December, 1938. She passed away in 2004.
He was a veteran of WWII serving as a Corporal in the 241st AAF Base Unit, maintaining B-24s and B-29s, and was stationed in England during the war.
JK and Ruby reared their family in California, and resided in Kaysville, Utah, at the time of his passing.
They have 4 children, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, loved fellowshipping and missionary work, was a true patriot of this country, and greatly loved his family and family history.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Fairfield Chapel, 50 E. Mutton Hollow. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard.
