Jeremy Wilford McCloy

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dad, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin, nephew and friend. On January 15, 2025, Jeremy McCloy passed away at the age of 53, after a short, valiant fight with cancer.

Jeremy was born on August 24, 1971, in Ogden, Utah, to Keith Bowman and Judith Vaughan McCloy. Jeremy’s favorite times growing up were spent fishing, camping, and hunting with family. In later years, he enjoyed being a ‘wannabe mechanic’, worked construction, sales and distribution, and auto parts delivery. He loved spending time with his friends, who were like family.

Jeremy was blessed with four children, Brandy Lynn McCloy, Brittany J. McCloy (John) Prusa, Shelby Judith Maria McCloy (James Meads), and Destiny (Joshua) Dean. He has nine grandchildren, Madyson, Kambrea, Dominic, Izabelle, Samantha, Piper, Talyn, Wyelin, and Jaci.

Jeremy is survived by his three daughters; nine grandchildren; sisters, Laurie (Steve) Carter, Leslie (Steve) Williams, Jamey McCloy, Kimber McCloy (Jared Grigsby); sister-in-law, Tammy McCloy; Shelli Deighton, Mark Ewing; and LOTS of nieces and nephews; and his little puppy Titus. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Brandy; his parents, Keith and Judie McCloy; and his brothers, Keith Vaughan and Monte. He was also proceeded in death by nephews, Jerome Borsch, and Brandon and Bryce Perea; grandparents Charles and Lucille Vaughan and Wilford and Emma McCloy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Hooper City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Donations can be made to the family or Lindquist Mortuary.

The loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind.
