Jerry Guy Schenck

SYRACUSE a€" Jerry Guy Schenck, 61, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born July 13, 1949 in Kemmerer, Wyoming the son of Guy and Elsie Buck Schenck. He was reared and educated in Randolph, Utah, graduating from Clearfield High School in 1967 and Victor Valley Community College in 1980.

Jerry married Mildred Gruber on August 23, 1968 in Layton, Utah.

Jerry served in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a good friend and enjoyed helping others. His favorite hobby was Civil War History and taking motorcycle trips.

Surviving are his wife Mickey, Syracuse; son Brian Schenck, Salt Lake City; daughter Michele (Robert) Billings, Hesperia, CA; nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and brother Reynold (Sue) Schenck, Kuna, ID.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield.
