Jerry Lee Slama

LAYTON – Jerry Lee Slama, 50, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014.

He was born July 7, 1963 in Oceanside, California the son of Alfred Lee and Mary E. Thornton
Slama.

Jerry graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah.

Jerry was married to Carolyn Margaret Nelson in 1987 - 1997.

Jerry was an incredibly hardworking person who enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

He loved boating, camping, snowboarding and cooking.

Surviving are his son Derek Slama, Sacramento, CA; Jordan Slama, Layton; daughters, Lindsey Slama, Sacramento, CA; Breann Slama, Roy; mother Mary E. Urbanik, step-father George Urbanik, grandchildren, Anthony Slama, Gabriel Slama, sisters, Pamela Underwood and Debra Carlton.

Preceded in death by his father Alfred Lee Slama and Janet Marie Slama.

Friends may visit family for a celebration of life Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
