Jerry Lee Vaculin Jr.

Jerry Lee Vaculin Jr. returned home to his Heavenly Father on July 31, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 32.

Jerry was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 11, 1980 to Jerry Vaculin Sr. and Barbara Baker Balls.

He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1999, where he played varsity basketball.

Jerry harassed his five sisters with practical jokes and constant teasing but really, he was sensitive and caring to all those around him. Jerry was really bright, and excelled at anything he put his mind to. He was very charming and drew people to him wherever he went. He had a larger than life spirit which required a big body to carry it in.

Jerry loved to spend time outdoors snowboarding, skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Jerry is survived by his parents Jerry Vaculin Sr. and Duayne and Barbara Balls, sisters: Amy (David) DiGirolamo, Shauna (Cory) Staker, Ashley (Cally) Cason, Rachel (James) Oshley, and Natalie Vaculin, his nieces and nephews: Regan, Hailey, Lauren, Bailey, Makayla, Isabella, Jett, Skyler, Aubrey and Alexander.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Boulevard, Ogden Utah.
