Jessica Ann Jones

On Tuesday, January 28, 2014 an angel was taken home.  Jessica Jones was 22 years old daughter of Richard and Melanie Jones.  She was the oldest of three children and blessed with an awesome gift.

She graduated from Layton High School in 2008 and started her working career.  Jessica was given a gift to work with the elderly people.  With her infectious smile and patience she molded herself into their lives and in turn they did the same.  She attached herself to her residents and it was not just a job it was her passion.

She will be missed by those that she touched the most, especially her little brother Dustin the love of her life.

She is survived by her parents Richard and Melanie Jones, brothers, Dillon, Dustin, grandparents, KaeLynne and Ray Garcia, Aunt Heidi (Jason), Uncle Cory (Heather), Aunt Shalace, Aunt Debby and Uncle Tony Vargas, Aunt Pam and Uncle Randy Wickens and their families.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Cort Galbraith, grandfather William Jones and grandmother, Carolyn Jones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Memorial services will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Chancellor Gardens Assisted Living, 1425 S. 1500 E., Clearfield.
