Jill Sheya

Jill Sheya, 74, passed on November 09, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Ronald Partridge and Hazel Quarnberg in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 14, 1947.

She married Joseph on December 15, 1973, and they lived together in Layton, Utah. Together they raised four children Nick (Raysa), Katie (Brooks), Charles (Mellissa), and Tami (Matt). Together they have 10 grandchildren; TJ, Lissette, Kimball, Avery, London, Belle, Canon, Perrin, Emris, and Eowyn.

Grandma loved her family more than anything in life and was very proud of all of their accomplishments. She battled cancer with all her might and strength so she could be there for all their special events and birthdays.

She loved to be in the outdoors and really enjoyed roasting anything on a campfire. She loved camping and fishing and riding around on jeep trails with her dad as a kid.

She was a proud Weber State Wildcat and enjoyed going to games with her family and cheering them on. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
