Jim Greer

James “Jim” Warren Greer left this earth Wednesday, July 21, 2021 while battling an unexpected bout of pancreatitis.

Jim was born June 21, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to Della Mae and Arthur “Jack” Greer.

Jim worked as a commercial truck driver before retiring with Western Teamsters as a crane operator and hostler.

Jim married Linda (Hoy) on November 27, 1991 and is survived by his children Cheri, Lisa and Kami whom he shared with his former spouse, Linda (Katz) and stepsons Jason and Justen. He has 16 surviving grandchildren. His parents and oldest child, Steven Jay preceded him in death.

Jim loved to spend time outdoors.

He especially enjoyed camping and fishing at the Flaming Gorge National Recreation area, and wishes to remain there as his final resting place. A celebration of life will be planned at Hooper Park in the near future. Please contact the family for more information.
