Jimbo Heiney, a devoted father, a cherished grandfather, and loving husband passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Jimbo was the heart and soul of our family, a beacon of strength, and the guiding force that shaped our lives. Born December 31, 1966, Jimbo dedicated his life to nurturing the bonds of family, creating a home filled with warmth, understanding, and love. His commitment to his role as a father was unparalleled, and his love for his three children, Elmer, Tiler, and Rylei, was a source of inspiration for all who knew him.
As a husband, Jimbo exemplified the true meaning of partnership and companionship. His love for Bobbie was a testament to the enduring power of love. Together, they weathered life’s storms, celebrated its joys, and created a home that radiated with love and unity.
Jimbo’s greatest joy in life was being a grandfather. He reveled in the laughter and playfulness of his eight grandchildren, Quinncie, Elliott, Reignn, Rowan, Nakoa, Kove, Navy and Zelen. Whether it was sharing stories, playing games, or offering words of wisdom,
Jimbo’s presence was a constant source of comfort and joy. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his warm smile, and the way he effortlessly brought joy to every room he entered. He had a unique ability to uplift spirits and turn ordinary moments into cherished memories. His kindness, generosity, and genuine nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we mourn the loss of Jimbo Heiney, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us. In our hearts, his spirit will live on, and the lessons he imparted will continue to guide us.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love that he so freely gave during his time with us.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Community Center at Lindquist’s Office Building, 3434 Washington Blvd.
