Jimmy Michael Hatch, 50, passed away on September 23, 2019 at his home in Layton.
Jimmy was born on May 21, 1969 in Ogden, Utah to Larry and Ginger Hatch the second of four children.
He had a happy childhood growing up in Layton. He graduated from Layton High School.
In 1987 he became a proud father to his son Justin Hatch.
In 1994 he married RaNee Harris, and gained a step-daughter, Teresa Horrocks, and step-son, Robert Pyper.
He was a small business owner of an auto body shop in Kaysville for several years. He was a honest and hardworking man.
Jimmy had a passion for wildlife and was an avid duck hunter. His favorite times were those spent on Koosharem Mountain archery hunting and four-wheeling with his family. He loved the outdoors, in recent years he took up bird watching and photography.
He is survived by his son Justin Hatch, mother Ginger Hatch, three siblings, Lori (Scott) Beck, Lisa (Mike) Hardman, Chris (Heidi) Hatch, five nephews and three nieces.
Preceded in death by his father Larry Hatch.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
