Jirapat Sakkaphun

Jirapat Sakkaphun passed away on May 24, 2023. She was born November 27, 1937 in Ratchaburi, Thailand to father Sunthi and mother Thongcum Sakkaphun. She had 4 siblings, Lek, Suporn, Manee, and Wand. She went to school from elementary up to the University in Bangkok and graduated from the Bangkok College of commerce with an Associate degree. She taught at the Bangkok of commerce afterward. She Graduated from Santo Tomas University in the Philippines where she received her Bachelors and Master degree in Economics and worked for the Civil Service and Ministry of Education. After graduating, she married Paibul Ruangsiri.  

In Thailand, she was converted and baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint by Brent Cook and Bro. Stevenson.  

After coming to the United States she lived in various states including Texas, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah.   

She is survived by her only son, Veerapat Paul Ruangsiri. Funeral Services will be held on Sat. June 3rd at the LDS Thai Laotian ward on 5400 South Allendale Drive, in Murray at 1:00. After the services she will be buried at the South Jordan Cemetery located 10630 S 1055 W, South Jordan, UT

จิรพัฒน์ สักกะพันธุ์ ถึงแก่กรรมเมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2023 เธอเกิดเมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 1937 ที่จังหวัดราชบุรี ประเทศไทย โดยมีบิดาชื่อ สันติ และมารดา ทองคำ สักกะพันธ์ มีพี่น้องทั้งหมด 4 คน คือ เล็ก, สุพร, มณี และวรรณ เธอเรียนตั้งแต่ชั้นประถมจนถึงมหาวิทยาลัยในกรุงเทพฯ และจบปริญญาตรีจากวิทยาลัยพาณิชยการกรุงเทพ เธอสอนที่กรุงเทพพาณิชยการหลังจากนั้น เธอสำเร็จการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัย ซานโต โทมัส ที่ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ โดยได้รับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโทสาขาเศรษฐศาสตร์ และทำงานให้กับข้าราชการพลเรือนและกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เมื่อเรียนจบได้แต่งงานกับไพบูลย์ เรืองศิริ 
 
ในประเทศไทย เธอเปลี่ยนใจเลื่อมใสและรับบัพติศมาเข้าเป็นสมาชิกในศาสนจักรของพระเยซูคริสต์แห่งวิสุทธิชนยุคสุดท้ายโดย เบรนต์ คุก และ บราเดอร์ สตีเวนสัน 
 
หลังจากมาถึงสหรัฐอเมริกา เธออาศัยอยู่ในรัฐต่างๆ รวมทั้งเท็กซัส นิวยอร์ก โอไฮโอ เพนซิลเวเนีย และยูทาห์ 
 
เธอรอดชีวิตจากลูกชายคนเดียวของเธอ วีรพัฒน์ พอล เรืองศิริ พิธีศพจะจัดขึ้นในวันเสาร์ วันที่ 3 มิถุนายน ที่วอร์ดลาวไทย ที่ 5400 South Allendale Drive ใน Murray เวลา 13.00 น. หลังจากพิธีฝังศพเธอจะถูกฝังที่สุสานเซาท์จอร์แดน ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่ 10630 S 1055 W, South Jordan, UT
