J'Lene Garner

RIVERDALE – Our loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend, J’Lene Dionne Gurule Babilis Garner, 33, past away on Sunday, August 5, 2007, at her home from an accidental asphyxiation. She left this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born July 17, 1974 to Tim Gurule and Chonita Ramos Babilis in Ogden,Utah . J’Lene attended Bonneville High. She worked for thirteen years for AOL as a customer service representative. She had an infectious laugh that never stopped. She loved listening to music, talking on the phone and loved her pets. She enjoyed trapshooting, fishing, camping, and Christmas parties. She enjoyed watching "The Wizard of OZ" over and over again. J’Lene had a longtime boyfriend, Danny Martinez and they had two children, Kolby and Kelsey. She later married Travis Garner in 2004 and had a daughter, Ashtyn. Surviving is her husband, Travis and three daughters, Kolby, Kelsey and Ashtyn; her father, Tim (Esmeralda) Gurule, Salt Lake; her mother, Chonita (Jan) Babilis, Riverdale. Four brothers, Jason Babilis, Jared Babilis, Alfonso Gurule, and Nathan Gurule, and four sisters, Jessica Gurule, Aleecia Gurule, Cleo Gurule, and Janae Nielson. Also surviving are her in-laws, Leon Richard and Charlotte Garner. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Alfonso Gurule and Rose Campos, Concepsion Ramos, Arlene Wachter, Don Wachter, Nick Babilis, Aunt Aurora McMubbin and cousin, Jerry Prieto. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment – Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions to offset funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
