Joan Annie Yeo

Joan Annie Yeo Joan Annie Yeo passed away August 9, 2010 at her home in Layton. She was born June 22, 1924 in Swansea, Wales UK to Arthur Percy Brown and Celia Tregunna Brown. Joan graduated as a professional Nanny from the Norland Institute in Bristol. She married Adrian Visser in 1945 and was later divorced. They had two daughters and lived overseas until 1959 when Joan and her daughters joined the LDS Church in Argentina and then returned to Swansea. In 1975 Joan married Stanley Yeo and they were sealed in the London Temple. When Stan died she joined her daughters in Layton, Utah in 2003. She is survived by her daughters Eve (Ken) Winkfield and Christine Visser, her grandchildren Mark Winkfield, Julie (Lance) Barker, Amy (Rick) Oliver, Jon (Ericka) Winkfield, David (Angel) Winkfield, Diana Winkfield, Ken Winkfield and Lisa Bryson, 15 great-grandchildren and her brother Trevor Brown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Valley View LDS Chapel, 2455 Valley View Dr., East Layton.
