Our beautiful loving mother, JoAnn Jensen Johnson, resident of West Valley City passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022. JoAnn was born May 26, 1932 to LuLa Miller and Harold Edmond Jensen in Tremonton. She grew up in South Ogden by her mother, stepfather Maurice Summers and two siblings, Sharon and Gerald both deceased.

JoAnn married Jack Doyle Jensen (deceased) March 8, 1950 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple March 8, 1960. They raised four children through many journeys and settled in Layton prior to Jack’s death.

Mom loved to counter cross-stitch, camping and decorating for all the holidays.

She found love again and married Ralph L Johnson (deceased) November 4, 1977.

She had been residing with her daughter Connie who has taken care of her for many years.

JoAnn is survived by her four children, Robert (Valerie) Jensen and Curtis Jensen residing in Arizona, Connie Jensen of Salt Lake City and Nanette (David) Nay residing in Arkansas. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, sister, brother and two grandchildren.

Family would like to thank Hospice, especially Amy, Ashley, and Lilly for their kindness and helping our mother. A special thank you to Conae for all your help and understanding.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
