SOUTH OGDEN a€" JoAnn Marie Palfreyman, 72, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009.

She was born September 27, 1936 in Albion, MI to Herbert L. and Ruth J. Laity Prue.

On March 5, 1952, JoAnn married David L. Palfreyman in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple one year later. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2000.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various capacities including Primary President, Relief Society President and as a visiting teacher.

She enjoyed camping trips to Bear Lake, quilting, reading and especially spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

JoAnn is survived by one son, Brian (Jeanene) Palfreyman, four daughters, Cheryl (Wayne) Roberson, Sandra (Dee) Hunsaker, Susan (Brent) Summers, Becky Palfreyman; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert (Darlene) Prue and three sisters, Delores Capps, Carolyn Muir and Lindy Smith.

Including her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Robin (Brett) Peer.

The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care for their compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
