JoAnne E. Oyler

JoAnne E. Oyler passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, surrounded by her family at the Family Tree Care Center in West Point.

She was born on August 31, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas Henry and Eunice Brooks Sowerby. She was raised and educated in Ogden. She married G. Kent Oyler from Ogden and he preceded her in death in November of 2008.

Mom loved the mountains, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loved fishing, camping, and endured life well, never complaining.

JoAnne is survived by four sons, Rodney Oyler; Jeffrey B. (Valarie) Oyler, Centerville; Mike J. (Liane) Oyler, Syracuse; Randy S. (Joanne) Oyler, Ogden; two daughters, Toni L. (Ted) Browne, Roy; Wendy S. (Kenne) Greene, Syracuse; 22 grandchildren; and one sister, Dolores Oliver, Price.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Nancy, parents, and two brothers, Robert and Tom.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 25th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

The family would like to thank the staff at Family Tree Care Center in West Point and Utah Hospice for their loving care.
